French Braids  are one of the most popular, second only to the typical three strand. This style of is perfect for when you need to quickly put your hair up, dreary weather, or one of those days you just don’t want to spend too much time. This way the braid sits on top of the hair instead of tucked underneath. Like the french, it is a great way to get your hair up quickly, but it gives off a bit more of an edgy vibe.

Fishtail Braids  have gotten super popular in the last few years and we think they are totally adorable. It can be done tightly or relaxed and it usually sits on either shoulder. It might look intimidating, but it is super easy. Perfect for a day you don’t have time to do your hair or when you’re looking for a simple, yet adorable, look!

If you want something more complicated, the Upside Down braid might be perfect for you.  Use the French braiding technique, but start at the base of your neck.
